CSF Introduction


Self Control Fuse (CSF) is a three-terminal protection element, which is mainly used for secondary protection of lithium-ion batteries such as laptops, tablets, digital cameras, POS machines and mobile phones.
 

CSF can provide overcurrent and overcharge protection for lithium batteries. When the lithium battery has overcurrent, the fuse will melt and cut off the current. Or when the battery is overcharged, the heater is activated. Because the heater is close to the fuse, the fuse is heated and melted. At this time, the battery charging current and the current flowing through the heater are cut off at the same time.
 

CSF can be installed by a placement machine and soldered by reflow soldering.
